RCDG Celebration Event

This week we attended the celebration of the installation of the 5th Public Access Defibrillator for Princes Risborough. The event marks the installation of the 17th PAD in the Risborough Area representing over £34,000 investment into the Rural Communities in the last two years.

Chairman, Mark Tubb welcomed those attending and thanked everyone for their generous donations. He added that heart failure being highlighted as one of the most likely causes of sudden death by the NHS we are pleased to be able to play our part in combating this threat. In improving the availability of this life saving equipment to the Community we aim to improve the chances of recovery by enabling action to be taken at the earliest opportunity.

Five more locations are planned for installation shortly which will bring the total installed to twenty two.

We are honoured to be a part of such a great cause, and look forward to continuing our support of the Rural Community Defibrillator Group.

Raising Money for Public Access Defibrillators

The community here in Princes Risborough is fantastic, and that is why we have been raising money for Public Access Defibrillators to be placed in the local area. Alongside the brand new Honda 4x4 CRV Emergency Vehicle we donated to the Princes Risborough First Responders a few months ago.
Defibrillators really do save lives, and that is why we want to provide as many as possible. We have all ready installed some to the area, with them being placed at Haddenham Library and most recently at Princes Risbrough Fire Station and we will continue to work with the Rural Community Defibrillator Group, South Central Ambulance Service and Princes Risborough Community First Responders to install further machines.
We cannot thank our customers enough who have helped us to be able to donate these live saving machines. We will continue to donate £1 for every Facebook Like we receive, and £5 for every MOT and Service that is booked here at Risboro Garage.
